India, June 11 -- Having begun her acting career as an eighth-grader, Sanjana Sanghi credits her parents, investor-businessman Sandeep and homemaker Shagun for being her support system in the early years. In the run-up to Father's Day (June 15), the father-daughter duo speaks to us about their bond. "Sanji and I are similar temperamentally. Even our working styles are alike," notes Sandeep. Sanjana, 28, chimes in, "My friends call me 'mini-Sandeep'. I'm a mirror image of my father. Speaking whatever's on my mind and being emotionally sensitive - I get that from him." They also share alma maters - Modern School, Barakhamba and later, Delhi University. Sanjana shares that her dad held the fort at their Delhi home while her mum accompanied her to shoots. Having his teenage daughter enter showbiz could have been daunting, but Sandeep, 61, tells us, "Sanji's been working since Rockstar (2011); she was only 13. I worried that she'd exhaust herself because of her commitment to cinema and academia. But as she auditioned, we realised that there are a lot of good opportunities and people among whom she'd thrive." "Dad never had apprehensions about me. He always told me that as long as I work hard and am honest with myself, he'll always let me fly. He's a complete girl dad," Sanjana ends with a smile....
