I-Day festivities at Gurukul Global
Chandigarh, Aug. 22 -- Gurukul Global School was filled with the spirit of patriotism on August 15 as the nation celebrated its 79th Independence Day. The occasion was marked with a dignified and memorable ceremony, where the national flag was proudly hoisted by managing director Praveen Setya, directors Pawan Bansal, Deepak Dhiman and Devraj Setya along with principal Urvashi Kakkar. As the Tricolour unfurled and fluttered in the gentle monsoon breeze, everyone present stood in attention, singing the National Anthem with pride and reverence.
The sight of the flag soaring high was truly moving, bringing with it a deep sense of gratitude for the countless sacrifices that gave us the freedom we cherish today.
Though simple, the ceremony carried a strong message. It reminded everyone of the courage, resilience, and vision of those who fought for our independence and inspired all to uphold their legacy with sincerity and dedication. It was also a moment to reflect on the responsibility we each share in protecting the ideals of unity, equality, and justice. The morning ended with warm Independence Day greetings, leaving everyone with a renewed feeling of pride, togetherness, and hope for a brighter future for our nation....
