I-Day, Janmashtami at St John's
Kharar, Aug. 21 -- St John's School (co-ed) celebrated Independence Day, combined beautifully with Janmashtami celebrations.
The flag hoisting ceremony was led by principal Poonam Ahuja, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem. The chief guests for the event were Randhir Sood and Gurwinder Singh directors of the school , who graced the occasion with their presence.
The event began with the warm welcome extended by the Principal, Poonam Ahuja, who greeted all the dignitaries, staff, and students. Following this, a Krishna Janmashtami aarti was performed with devotion, setting a spiritual tone for the day..
The Kindergarten section delighted the atmosphere with their adorable performances. Dressed up as Radha and Krishna, the little ones stole everyone's hearts.
This was followed by performances from the Primary section, who showcased their talent through a musical medley and dance performances themed around Independence Day. A prize distribution ceremony was also held to acknowledge the hard work and achievements of the students in extracurricular activities.
