India, Oct. 18 -- For Aahana S Kumra, Diwali is a perfect blend of intimate family time and lively social gatherings. The actor cherishes the low-key celebrations with her parents back home in Lucknow, as much as the lavish Mumbai parties that offer ample networking opportunities. Reflecting on her childhood festive memories, the 40-year-old shares, "That gulabi thandi which marks the start of winter, the fragrance of flowers, and the festive vibes take me back to Lucknow. At home, I am in charge of puja and decoration. A must-have for dinner is suran ki sabzi (yam), which my father loves." She adds, "Ek alag hi tyohaar ki khushboo hai UP mein that I miss in Mumbai. The weather and celebrations here are different, but the feeling is the same. It's the best time of the year!" But Aahana does find the flurry of glamorous parties in Mumbai enticing. "Many of my friends throw parties, and I happily attend because I genuinely care for them. I also enjoy meeting people, which you don't get to do otherwise, since everyone is so busy!" she ends....
