HP to SC: Can't quantify water released in Yamuna for Delhi
New Delhi, June 11 -- Days after the Supreme Court directed Himachal Pradesh to consider releasing 137 cusecs of surplus drinking water to scarcity hit Delhi, the Upper Yamuna River Board (UYRB) informed the court on Monday that there was no way to measure compliance since the state government did not have any storage facility nor was any data available to ascertain the amount of surplus water released by it after meeting its requirements....
