Mumbai, July 5 -- Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday said while there was nothing wrong in taking pride in the Marathi language, it was unacceptable to resort to violence and hooliganism in its name. Fadnavis was reacting to the assault on a shop owner in Mira Road, by the workers of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. "It is not wrong to be proud of Marathi. But if someone indulges in hooliganism over it, if someone beats up people on the basis of language, this will not be tolerated...
