Banur, Aug. 19 -- Holy Mary's School organised an educational visit for its Class IX students to the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Banur, on July 25, 2025. The visit was designed to expose students to the wide array of career opportunities in the fields of design, fashion, and modern technology. During the visit, students were given a guided tour of the institute's facilities, where they got a closer look at industry-level machinery and processes. They had the opportunity to interact with experts and gain insight into how products are developed in the fashion and footwear industries. This hands-on experience offered students a meaningful connection between what they learn in the classroom and its application in the real world. To further reinforce their learning, each student was encouraged to write a one-page reflection on their experience, which will be added to their personal portfolio as part of their ongoing learning journey. Principal Shiny Devassy extended her heartfelt thanks to Avinash Bajpai, senior faculty at FDDI, for facilitating the visit and making it a productive and inspiring experience for the students. She emphasised that such initiatives are an essential part of the school's commitment to practical, career-oriented education for the students....
