Holy Mary's School organises inter-house carrom tourney
Banur, July 31 -- Holy Mary's School organised a thrilling interhouse carrom competition on July 24, 2025, exclusively for students of Classes 6 to 8. The event, which featured separate contests for boys and girls, witnessed spirited participation and commendable sportsmanship from all houses.
A total of 16 skilled players-two boys and two girls representing each house-competed in an engaging series of matches that highlighted precision, strategy, and teamwork.
Girls' Category:
Gandhi House emerged triumphant in the girls' category, with Navjot Kaur (7-A) and Seerat Kaur (8-C) delivering a stellar performance to secure first place. Teresa House secured the second position, represented by Anushka (7-A) and Harvir Kaur (7-A), whose efforts and enthusiasm were highly praised.
Boys' Category:
In a closely contested boys' final, Teresa House clinched the top position, thanks to the impressive play of Karandeep Singh (8-A) and Ramanpreet Singh (8-B). Nehru House earned the second position, led by the skilled duo of Gurnoor Singh (8-A) and Yojanjeet Singh (7-D), who captivated the audience with their sharp reflexes and coordination.
