Holy Mary's School celebrates birth anniversary of Guru Nanak
Banur, Nov. 6 -- Holy Mary's School celebrated the sacred birth anniversary of Guru Nanak. A special assembly was organised to mark the occasion, featuring soulful prayers, inspiring speeches, and messages that highlighted the Guru's teachings of truth, kindness, and humility.
Principal Shiny Devassy appreciated the heartfelt efforts of the Nehru House students and staff especially Manjinder Kaur (senior house incharge) and Manju Verma (junior house incharge) in organising the event. She congratulated everyone and encouraged the students to always remain humble, truthful, and compassionate toward others. As part of the celebration, the significance of langar - the community kitchen started by Guru Nanak Dev - was highlighted. Students learned how Guru Nanak Dev introduced langar to promote the values of equality, togetherness, and selfless service, where people of all castes, religions, and backgrounds sit together and share a common meal....
