Mussoorie, July 21 -- An 18-year-old Sikh pilgrim from Punjab died after falling into a gorge while on the Hemkunt Sahib Yatra route near Pulna in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand on Sunday, officials said. According to the district emergency control room, the incident occurred around 10 am when Gurpreet Singh deviated from the designated trekking path and attempted to use a shortcut near Jungle Chatti.
