Gunshots fired at Mansa shop; hunt on for two
	
		
				Bathinda, Oct. 29 -- Panic gripped Mansa town after two unidentified motorcycle-borne persons opened fire at a shop on Tuesday evening.
They again opened fire to scare passersby who tried to overpower them while fleeing. No one was injured, police officials said.
According to information, the biker had covered his face while the pillion rider was wearing a helmet.
They fired towards a retail pesticide shop located in Gurdwara Chowk, shattering its glass panes. People familiar with the development said the shop belonged to the family of RTI activist Manik Goyal.
As the culprits were fleeing from the spot, their bike collided with a scooter. Soon, a few people tried to overpower them near Vidya Bharti School so the culprits again opened fire.
In the melee, the mobile phone of one of the accused fell on the spot. The accused fled leaving the motorcycle behind.
Jaspreet Singh, station house officer of Mansa city 1, told reporters that teams have been formed to arrest the accused.
"The mobile phone has been sent for an examination. CCTV footage in the area is being scanned for more clues. Checkpoints have been set up to trace the assailants. A case will be registered after recording statements," he added....
