Ludhiana, July 25 -- Green Land Senior Secondary Public School commemorated Kargil Vijay Diwas with a series of activities and competitions that reflected the indomitable spirit of Indian soldiers and fostered patriotism among the students across all age groups. The day began with the youngest learners-from Pre-Nursery to UKG-paying tribute to the valiant Kargil heroes by dressing up as soldiers and national icons. Their innocent portrayal of courage and pride symbolised deep respect and gratitude towards the armed forces. To further instil patriotic fervour, a Poetry Recitation Competition on the theme "Our Martyrs" was organised for students of Classes 1 to 3, while a Declamation Competition on "Kargil Heroes" was held for students of Classes 4 and 5. The participants prepared poems on themes such as 'Veerta aur Balidan,' 'Kargil ke Veer,' 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan,' and 'Deshbhakti'. The school auditorium echoed with stirring poetic tributes, showcasing students' remarkable expression, oratory skills and heartfelt connection to the nation's heroes. Rajesh Rudhra, the chairman of the Chain of Green Land Schools, shared a special message on the occasion: "Kargil Vijay Diwas reminds us of the indomitable courage and supreme sacrifice of our soldiers.
