Chandigarh, April 30 -- Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-33, organised a prize distribution event on April 28, 2026. The program commenced with lighting of the lamp and chief guest Neena Kalia DDSE -1 presided over the function. The school band team welcomed her. Abhay Singh, student of Class 10 who topped the Chandigarh Government Schools by scoring 99.2 marks was felicitated with the certificate and trophy. Other student toppers and sports achievers were also given the certificates and trophy to mark their achievements. As a series of events the chief guest also inaugurated the parking for differently abled persons and Foil free zone in the school. Neena visited the newly created Aerospace park and inaugurated it. She also visited book stall installed by the NSS volunteers. Eco club stall displaying seed balls, paper bank and saplings for distribution,CWSN stalls displaying beautiful hand made artefacts was another highlight of the day.The chief guest appreciated the principal, staff members and students of the school for their sincere efforts.
