Govt High School-54 teachers attend orientation programme
Chandigarh, Sept. 23 -- A state resource group of languages ( English, Hindi and Sanskrit) from education department Chandigarh, attended a 5-day orientation programme organised by RIE Ajmer in collaboration with NCERT, New Delhi. The programme was about the review and discussion of the newly developed textbooks for language subjects by the NCERT, New Delhi. The SRGs from UT Chandigarh shared their experiences related to the newly developed textbooks with the participants from other northern states of Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh. The high point of the programme was a special interaction with educationists like Chand Kiran Saluja ( Member of Drafting Committee of NEP2020), Meenakshi Khar ( NCERT), Sri Devi ( assistant prof RIE, Ajmer), and Sucheta (principal, RIE,Ajmer). The coordinator of the Chandigarh SRG group Mannu Sharma from SCERT, Chandigarh, inspired these SRGs to represent UT., Chandigarh with their best practices related to the newly developed textbooks, at RIE Ajmer....
