Gian Jyoti Global School marks World Punjabi Day with zeal
Mohali, Sept. 29 -- Gian Jyoti Global School, Phase-2, Mohali, celebrated World Punjabi Day with immense enthusiasm and zeal. The main objective of the event was to connect the new generation with the importance of their mother tongue, Punjabi, and its rich literature, art, and heritage.
The celebration commenced with the motivation to make continuous efforts for the development and preservation of the Punjabi language.
On this occasion, teachers educated students on the importance of the Punjabi language and encouraged them to preserve it. Students actively participated in poetry recitation and slogan singing.
Teachers also sang Punjabi songs, inspiring the children to speak their mother tongue proudly.
Furthermore, a quiz competition related to the Punjabi language was organised, in which the students showed keen interest.
Principal Gian Jot inspired the children to write the Punjabi language cleanly and clearly. She stated that Our roots are deeply connected to this language. We should never forget it and must continue to make every possible effort to promote and cultivate it.
