GHG Khalsa College celebrates national mathematics day
Ludhiana, Feb. 19 -- The S Ramanujan Society of Mathematics at GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, celebrated the National mathematics day in memory of Srinivasan Ramanujan by organising a lecture followed by power point presentations and poster presentation on Monday. Professor Gurmeet Bakshi, chairperson, mathematics department, Panjab University, Chandigarh, was the guest speaker. Bakshi threw light on 'Group Theory' by using 'Sudoku' as an example. Principal Jaswant Singh appreciated the efforts of the department. The NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, students and staff of the college also paid tribute to the CRPF personnel killed in Pulwama terror attack by staging a candle march in the campus....
