Garden competition: Satluj Public School bags 1st prize
Panchkula, March 13 -- Satluj Public School has proudly secured first prize in 'garden competition' at the Spring Festival 2026. The school has been winning the best garden prize for the past 24 years.
This achievement reflects the unwavering dedication, teamwork and passion of the teachers and staff, who have devoted countless hours to nurturing a beautiful and sustainable garden. Satluj's garden was originally envisioned by founder and chairman, Late S Pritam Singh Serai, and today this legacy is carried forward with great pride by co-chairpersons Gur K. Serai and Krit G. Serai.The magnif cent garden flourishes with more than 58 varieties of flowers including Petunia, Dahlia, Salvia, Geranium, Antirrhinum, Calendula and Verbena, lovingly maintained by school's head gardener Ambica Prasad and his dedicated team. Both senior co-ordinators Shipra Sharma Mehan, Madhu Sharma, staff and students have played a valuable part in the gardens creation and development....
