India, July 4 -- PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised the fifth edition of the HR Conclave at Hotel Lalit Chandigarh. The objective of the event was to deliberate on the future ready workforce and other important aspects of human resource. While giving the welcome address, Lokesh Jain, co-chair, PHDCCI's Haryana state chapter, emphasised the importance of prioritising employee experience in human resource management. On the Occasion, Dr GP Rao, founder, Good People Relations, delivered the keynote address, sharing valuable insights on the evolving role of HR in meeting organisational needs. Rajneesh Singh, chair of HR Conclave 2025 and managing partner of Simply Group, emphasised the challenges and opportunities HR professionals face while adapting to the changing facets in the current scenario. Naveen Seth, deputy secretary general, PHDCCI, moderated the session and mentioned that the HR conclave is serving as an important platform for thought leaders and HR professionals to exchange perspectives on the evolving dynamics of the workforce, the growing emphasis on skilling, and the imperative of employee well-being. The conclave featured three impactful panel discussions. Among them was 'Future-Ready Workforce', moderated by HR consultant Tanushree Gupta, which focused on emerging skills for the evolving workplace. Panellists included Amrita Singh, HR Head Denso Ten Uno Minda, JP Singh VP and group head HR, GROZ Engineering Tools Pvt Ltd, and Aakash Thakur, vice-president and head corporate HR, Vardhman Textiles. Second session on the use of technology in HR was moderated by Anisha Raghav, head HR, Edifecs, that explored digital transformation in HR with insights from Tarun Malhotra, CEO, Cyber Cops, Vishal Pandita, senior product consultant, KeKa HR, and Arun Raghav, VP, HR, ER, admin and CSR, Mahindra & Mahindra - Swaraj Division. Another session on employee wellness was organised with eminent speakers such as Simar Deep Kaur, CHRO, Max India and Antara Senior Living, Nidhi Shyam, head HR, Premas Life Sciences, Debjani Dasgupta, head HR, MAHLE ANAND filter systems, and Anupam Biswal, founder, The Last Mile Care, who emphasised the critical role of wellness in HR strategy. Additionally, Dr Rao shared thought-provoking insights on diversity, equality, and inclusion during a fireside chat moderated by Ipshita Kajla. The second edition of 'HR Excellence Recognition' was also organised concurrently to the HR conclave. The jury panel comprised notable HR leaders like Monica Mudgal (SVP and head HR and administration, Healthkart), Sanjay Bose (executive vice-president and Head HR , ITC Hotels), Simardeep Kaur (Max Group), Aakash Thakur (VP, HR, Vardhman Textiles), Bhawish Awasthi, (CHRO, YANMAR), Prashant Sharma (EVP HR, Uflex) and Amrita Singh (head of HR Denso Uno Minda), who evaluated and honoured 10 HR teams for their best practices in different categories during the award function. The winning companies in various categories included Grey Star Services India in excellence in talent acquisition, Mahindra & Mahindra's Swaraj division in excellence in learning and development, and Nanotech Chemical Brothers and Parijat Industries, which were joint winners in excellence in employee engagement, whereas Talent Gro Global excelled in campus connect and internship programme and Venus Remedies in excellence in HR compliance. While proposing the vote of thanks, Bharti Sood, regional director, PHDCCI, emphasised that HR is the backbone of any organisation.
