Futsal match, cultural events mark Day 2
Chandigarh, Oct. 5 -- The 178th founders day celebrations of Lawrence School, Sanawar, entered the second day with a series of cultural and sporting events attended by students, parents, staff and alumni.
The day began with friendly futsal and basketball matches between Old Sanawarians and current students, followed by the inauguration of the newly developed PD hangout area, designed as a space for student interaction and creativity.
The fete, organised by the Old Sanawarian Society (OSS), added to the day's activities, drawing large participation from visitors. Hobby exhibitions by students also drew appreciation for their innovation and craftsmanship.
Headmaster Himmat Singh Dhillon said, "As we celebrate 178 years of Sanawar, our focus remains on preparing students to lead with empathy and courage. The founders day stands as a bridge between our proud history and a future shaped by inspired young minds."
