Hoshiarpur, Feb. 4 -- Four persons were killed after the two scooters they were riding were hit by a speeding car near Bhangala in the Mukerian subdivision around midnight on Monday. The car driver has been arrested and a case registered against him. According to the police, the scooterists were returning from work at a marriage palace in Mukerian and were heading towards Kala Manjh village when their vehicles were struck by a Hyundai Venue. Following the collision, the car also rammed into a truck and was badly damaged. All four two-wheeler riders died on the spot. The police reached the scene and, with the help of local residents, shifted the bodies to the Mukerian Civil Hospital.
