Chandigarh, Nov. 6 -- Former Haryana finance minister Sampat Singh on Wednesday joined back Indian National Lok Dal after quitting it 16-years-ago following differences with former chief minister and party supremo Om Prakash Chautala. His son Gaurav Sampat Singh also joined the party in the presence of INLD national president, Abhay Singh Chautala.
As per party statement, Singh, who once a close aide of late deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal, was appointed as the patron of the INLD, acknowledging his long political experience and organisational stature.
