Folk dance competition held at AKSIPS 45
Chandigarh, Aug. 15 -- AKSIPS 45 Smart School organised a folk dance competition for students of Class 4, celebrating India's rich cultural heritage through rhythm and movement. The event was held in the school auditorium and witnessed participation from young performers, who showcased folk dances from various states across the country.
Students came dressed in colourful traditional attire, representing the diversity of Indian culture through energetic performances of dances such as Bhangra, Garba, Lavani, Ghoomar, and more. Each performance reflected the unique traditions, music, and costumes of the region it represented, making the event both entertaining and educational.
The competition aimed to promote cultural awareness and boost confidence among students. The panel of judges appreciated the children's enthusiasm, coordination, and expression. Winners were awarded medals and certificates and were applauded for their performances.
