BATHINDA, Feb. 17 -- The Mansa police on Monday booked a digital entertainment firm and two of its promoters for allegedly committing financial fraud related to royalty with the parents of the slain Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh aka Sidhu Moose Wala on Monday. Mansa senior superintendent of police (SSP) Bhagirath Singh Meena said that a case was registered against Shabbir Momi, Gurpreet Singh and One Digital Network Private Limited under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including 316 (2) (criminal breach of trust), 336(2) (forgery), and 344 (falsification of accounts). A first information report (FIR) was lodged at Sadar police station on the complaint of Moose Wala's mother, Charan Kaur. SSP clarified that the case is under investigation and added that the alleged amount suspected to have been embezzled cannot be disclosed at this stage. Kaur and her husband, Balkaur Singh, also a Congress leader, had staged a dharna outside the SSP office last week against a delay in registration of the case against the accused....
