Ferozepur police bust drug racket with Pakistan link
Ferozepur, Oct. 5 -- : The police arrested three persons and seized 863 grams of ICE drug, along with four mobile phones and two unregistered motorcycles, during a naka operation on Saturday.
SSP Bhupinder Singh Sidhu said the first arrest was made near village Gulam Hussain, where Ramandeep Singh alias Ramni (22) of Habib Ke was found with the contraband, two phones, and a motorcycle without registration.
During questioning, Ramandeep revealed he had procured the drug from a Pakistani smuggler named Ali, and the delivery was meant for two associates, Pinder Singh and Shavinder Singh, of Dan Singh Wala in Bathinda.
Police acted promptly and arrested the duo near Udhamsingh Chowk, recovering two more phones and another unregistered bike.
All three have been booked under relevant sections of the NDPS Act, and further investigation is underway....
