Banur, July 30 -- Holy Mary's School hosted a lively inter-house fancy dress competition for students of Classes 1 and 2. The event featured participants from all four houses-Nehru, Tagore, Teresa, and Gandhi-with four students representing each house. Children came dressed as a wide variety of characters ranging from doctors, rockstars, and butterflies to homemakers, sunflowers, and school bells. Each student spoke a few lines about their character. The top honours went to Kiratveer Kaur from Class 1 Green, Tagore House, who won the 1st position for her portrayal of a homemaker. Her message about the importance of homemakers in keeping families and homes running smoothly left a strong impression on the audience. The second position was awarded to Dilnoor Kaur of Class 1 Red, Gandhi House, while the third position was jointly shared by Ravneet Kaur of Class 2 B, Tagore House, and Prabhansh Singh of Class 1 Green, Teresa House. Principal Shiny Devassy congratulated the winners and encouraged them to continue exploring their talents through such co-curricular activities.
