Chandigarh, Oct. 16 -- A 42-year-old worker was killed after a heavy iron hook fell on his head while on duty at JSW Bhushan Power and Steel Ltd in Industrial Area, Phase 1, on Wednesday. The victim, Bal Mukund Ojha, was employed in the packing department. A resident of Hallomajra, he was the sole breadwinner for his family, leaving behind his wife and five children, all of whom are school students, with one child born just a few months ago. The deceased's family alleged that they waited for hours at GMCH-32, but no company representative showed up, despite Mukund having worked there for eight years. The family protested outside the hospital, demanding that the company cover the education expenses of their children, provide a job and pay compensation to them.HTC...
