Chandigarh, Oct. 23 -- Clear, sunny weather is likely to continue till the end of the month, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Even as the MeT has forecast rain in Southern and Central parts of the country, IMD Chandigarh director Surender Paul said that an anticyclonic movement is active in the city and rain remains unlikely. "We will see weather typical to the period before winter approaches. Weather will remain dry and sunny while temperature is likely to start dropping from November owing to the changing season. There are no active Western Disturbances (WD) likely to affect the city as of now." The maximum temperature dropped from 34.2degC on Tuesday to 32.5degC on Wednesday, still a degree above normal. The minimum temperature rose from 18.9degC on Tuesday to 19.7degC on Wednesday, three degrees above normal. Over the next three days, the maximum temperature will remain around 33degC while the minimum temperature will remain around 18degC....
