New Delhi, Jan. 13 -- Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, on Monday after falling unconscious twice last week, officials said. The 74-year-old collapsed twice on January 10 in the washroom, officials aware of the details said. Initially visiting AIIMS for routine checks, doctors recommended that Dhankhar be hospitalised for further evaluation, they added. Officials said that Dhankhar had experienced such issues in the past. During his tenure as Vice President, Dhankhar had reportedly fainted at public events in New Delhi, Rann of Kutch, Uttarakhand and Kerala.
