Ludhiana, Jan. 6 -- A former kabaddi player was shot dead in broad daylight at the grain market in Manuke village of Jagraon on Monday. The victim was identified as Gagandeep Singh alias Baba, 36, a father of three, who worked as a bouncer to support his family. The attack took place reportedly due to an old rivalry. Baba's friend had a narrow escape as he managed to flee from the scene. Police said Baba's rivals intercepted him and opened fire when he was near the grain market. Baba suffered three bullet injuries and was declared dead on arrival at hospital. Police have booked Gursewak Singh alias Motu of the same village and his aides for the attack. P2...
