Emergency preparedness held at KB DAV school
Chandigarh, Sept. 1 -- The teaching and non-teaching staff of KB DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 7-B, Chandigarh, participated in essential sessions on Basic Life Skills and Fire Safety, held on Friday and Saturday.
The first session, organised by M/s Simply Health Plus in collaboration with Dr Chetan Goel from Paras Hospital, Panchkula, focused on administering First-Aid for a range of health conditions. Dr Goel's insightful presentation clarified key concepts, introducing terms such as InfluVac, Oral Antipyretics, Epistaxis, Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO), and the RICE Protocol (Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation). The staff actively engaged in discussions, demonstrating a keen interest in the disseminated knowledge.
The session concluded with enthusiastic applause, acknowledging the doctor and his team's engaging and informative presentation. The second session, attended by approximately 100 staff members, addressed emergency preparedness.
