Chandigarh, Nov. 8 -- City's Karandeep Kochhar won the Egypt Golf Series for Red Sea Open title. Kochhar secured the US$21,875 prize money at the Asian Tour event. His total score was 19 under par, securing a 3-stroke lead. The city golfer had a hole-in-one in Round 1, followed by three bogeys, and after a bogey, carded a 4-under 68. He was in joint-third place. In Round 6, Kochhar carded a 66, moving to joint-second place with 6 under par. He faced 7 birdies and 1 bogey. In the third round, Karandeep carded a 7-under 65, taking him to the top spot. This was his best round. He had only one birdie and one birdie on 8 holes. He carded a 2-under 70 in the final round and managed to win based on a big lead. Kochhar's total score was 19-under and he made 5 birdies and 3 bogeys in the last round.
