Chandigarh, May 16 -- The Election Commission on Wednesday issued a warning to Congress candidate Pawan Kumar Bansal after his party workers were found using religious places for campaigning.
The move came four days after Bansal was served a notice following complaints that the Congress held an Iftar party in his favour at the motor market in Sector 48.
The Congress candidate, so far, has received five notices for model code violation. His Bharatiya Janata Party counterpart Kirron Kher has received three while her party and its other leaders have got two notices ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
