India, July 4 -- Actor Deepika Padukone is set to be honoured with a star of her own on the Hollywood Walk of Fame soon. This will make her the first female Indian actor to get a spot on the popular Los Angeles sidewalk. After the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce revealed the list during a livestream, the actor took to Stories on Thursday, simply writing, "Gratitude". Honourees are picked from hundreds of nominations across motion pictures, television, live theatre and live performance, recording, and sports entertainment. According to the Walk of Fame, anyone, even fans, can nominate a celebrity as long as they and their management agree to it. If selected, inductees must pay $85,000 (approximately Rs.72 lakh). This is used to pay for the creation and installation of the star, as well as maintenance. Joining Deepika in the Motion Pictures category are actors Demi Moore, Rachel McAdams, Emily Blunt, Timothee Chalamet, Rami Malek, and Stanley Tucci.
