Panchkula, May 28 -- The kindergarten wing of Doon Public School conducted a unique and engaging activity focused on sensorial development as part of its May 2025 sensorial awareness theme. The highlight of the month was a smell station activity, where young learners explored a variety of scents. The initiative aimed to refine the olfactory senses of the children through real-life, hands-on exposure to aromatic items ranging from kitchen spices to natural herbs and flowers. The activity room was transformed into a sensory zone, with stations displaying glasses filled with aromatic surprises-such as fragrant roses, coffee beans, vinegar, chocolate, cardamom, cloves, mint, and basil leaves. Children took turns sniffing each glass, attempting to identify the different scents.
