Panchkula, April 30 -- To create awareness among young children about personal safety, a 'Stranger Danger' activity was recently conducted at Doon Public School. The session began with a short, informative video that explained the concept of strangers and highlighted simple, age-appropriate safety rules. Students learned important lessons such as never accepting gifts or sweets from strangers, keeping a safe distance, and immediately informing a trusted adult if approached by someone unfamiliar. The video helped lay a strong foundation for understanding how to stay alert and cautious in everyday situations. To make the learning experience more impactful, a teacher entered the classroom in disguise, pretending to offer sweets and candies to the students. This live demonstration allowed children to practise the safety techniques they had just learned. Students responded wisely, demonstrating their understanding by refusing the offer and informing their teacher. Through this interactive and practical approach, the children not only enjoyed the activity but also absorbed valuable lessons on how to protect themselves.
