Mohali, May 6 -- To recognise the hard work and contributions of the school's support staff, including cleaning staff, security personnel and other essential employees, Doon International School celebrated International Labour Day by honouring them. Students presented handmade cards and badges to the support staff as a token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work. The event commenced with a Shabd Gayan, followed by a speech expressing heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved. The class 12 students performed a short skit, emphasising the importance of respecting and appreciating the dignity of labour. The programme concluded with a bhangra performance by the students of class 11. The support staff received gifts from the teaching staff and students presented goodie bags filled with a variety of thoughtful items.
