Don't think it's a secret: Bilawal on Pak's links TO terror groups
New Delhi, May 3 -- Pakistan's former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has acknowledged the role of his country's military establishment in funding and supporting extremist groups, echoing a recent admission by Pakistan's defence minister Khawaja Asif. Both Asif and Bhutto-Zardari made the remarks in two separate interviews with Britain's Sky News while discussing the heightened tensions between India and Pakistan over the Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 people dead on April 22.
India unveiled a raft of punitive measures against Pakistan because of "cross-border linkages" to the attack.
When Bhutto-Zardari was asked about Asif's earlier remarks about Pakistan backing terrorist groups in an interview on Thursday, he replied, "As far as what the defence minister said, I don't think that it's a secret that Pakistan has a past as far as extremist groups are concerned." HTC...
