Zirakpur, Oct. 27 -- Under the guidance of their teacher, Abhiraj Kumar, the Class 10 students of Delhi World Public School (DWPS), Anika, Shelja, Poortika, Shaurya, Rounak, Harsimran, Narios, Idika, Kanak and Rayansh brought laurels to the school by winning the Best Cinematography Award at a three-day workshop on cinematography. The workshop was hosted by Chitkara International School in collaboration with Cinemaestro. The workshop saw participation from 20 schools across the region, where students were introduced to the fundamentals of filmmaking and visual storytelling. As part of the challenge, participants were tasked with creating a short film within their own school premises-conceptualising, filming, and editing within a limited timeframe. With their creativity, dedication, and innovative approach, the young filmmakers of Delhi World Public School, Zirakpur, impressed the jury with their remarkable film, earning them the recognition for Best Cinematography. This proud moment is a reflection of the school's commitment to encouraging students to explore their passions, develop real-world skills, and excel beyond academics.
