India, Jan. 9 -- T rouble appears to be brewing for Mastiii 4 (2025), directed by Milap Zaveri. Content creator and RJ Ashish Sharma has approached the Delhi High Court, alleging that a comedy sequence in the film mirrors his viral Reel. According to Live Law, Ashish claimed that the scene resembles his January 2024 reel Shaq Karne Ka Nateeja, which has over 11 million views. He has alleged unauthorised use of his original idea, storyline, character interactions and punchline and has sought a permanent injunction, compensation and disclosure of the film's profits. The matter came up for urgent hearing before Justice Tushar Rao Gedela on Jan 6. Taking note of the film's upcoming digital release, the court issued notice to the producers, observing that they must be given an opportunity to respond before any interim relief is considered. The judge also said that a short notice period was justified given the stage of the film's release. The case is scheduled to be heard next on Jan 13.
