Debate competition on cyber security held at KV 3BRD School
chandigarh, Nov. 5 -- As part of Cyber Jagrukta Month - 2025, the school organised a House-wise Debate Competition on the topic "Are AI-based tools making the cyber world safer or riskier?" The event was held in the school library and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Classes 9 to 12.
The competition aimed to raise awareness about cyber security and the role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the digital world. The programme was graced by Wing Commander Piyush Srivastava as the chief guest, along with judges Neetu Kaushik (PGT English) and Meenakshi Gupta (TGT English).
Two students from each of the four houses-Ashok, Raman, Shivaji, and Tagore-participated, with one speaker arguing for and the other against the motion. The participants impressed the audience with their well-researched arguments, confidence, and clarity of expression.
After an engaging and thought-provoking session, Vaishnavi of Class 9-C (Tagore House) secured the first position, Anant of Class 9-A (Shivaji House) won the Second Prize, and Vansh Sharma of Class 12-A (Raman House bagged the Third Prize.
The Chief Guest appreciated the participants for their insightful views and encouraged students to stay aware of both the opportunities and challenges that AI presents in the cyber world. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the guests and judges for their time and guidance....
