Death of hookup culture? Study reveals changing trends in modern dating
India, Nov. 16 -- The complications of modern relationships have been a trending topic on social media for some time now. However, a recent report, The Commitment Decade shared by the dating platform, Aisle Network, reveals how urban Indian singles are leaning toward serious relationships in 2025.
On the age-old question of who pays the bill on the first date, the survey, noticing a shift in gender dynamics, found that 53% of Indian women now prefer splitting the bill, whereas 42% of Indian men still believe they should pay.
Highlighting the casual dating fatigue, the report reveals that nearly 9 in 10 urban Indians now prioritise meaningful relationships over casual flings.
