However, a recent report, The Commitment Decade shared by the dating platform, Aisle Network, reveals how urban Indian singles are leaning toward serious relationships in 2025. On the age-old question of who pays the bill on the first date, the survey, noticing a shift in gender dynamics, found that 53% of Indian women now prefer splitting the bill, whereas 42% of Indian men still believe they should pay.
