Panchkula, Jan. 28 -- The 76th Republic Day was celebrated at DC Model Senior Secondary School. The students and teachers conducted a special programme wherein they showcased the spirit of patriotism and devotion to the nation. Kindergarten students expressed their love for the nation through an online celebration. The teachers in Classes explained the occasion's significance through a presentation highlighting the Constitution's making. They also motivated the children to undertake their duties towards the nation by contributing in making India clean and green. The students participated in various activities and created tricolour craft items. Junior section students made badges, kites and flags. Senior students and teachers vowed to be responsible voters of India. The former also presented a dance bonanza to commemorate the event. MD Bharat B Gupta congratulated everyone and encouraged the students to understand their role as youth in making a developed and corruption-free nation and volunteer for mankind's service. Principal Deepika Bhardwaj also felicitated everyone and appealed to the students to uphold the nation's integrity, dignity and pride. The programme ended with the singing of the national anthem....
