Panchkula, Jan. 16 -- A two-day workshop on the topic "Joyful Mathematics" was conducted in the premises of DC Model Sr Sec School, Sector-7. It emerged as a highly enriching experience for teachers. The sessions, led by Ravinder Singh and Dimple Kochar, were enlightening, engaging, and rich in content, covering the history of mathematics in India, the contributions of Indian pioneers, common errors made by students, and practical, classroom-friendly strategies to make mathematics joyful and meaningful. The resource persons were confident, knowledgeable, and highly engaging, making the sessions valuable even for non-mathematics teachers, who found the subject accessible and interesting. The innovative activities and approaches shared during the workshop provided new learning and practical ideas that will greatly benefit students and enhance classroom practices. The active participation of teachers, despite the cold weather, reflected their enthusiasm and commitment.
