Chandigarh, Oct. 24 -- While the days remain warm, residents have started feeling the chill at night due to a slide in the minimum temperatures. As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature dropped from 19.7degC on Wednesday to 17.5degC on Thursday, but still remained 2.8degC above normal. The lowest that the minimum temperature has gone this season was on October 8 when it slipped to 16.3degC. The maximum temperature rose slightly from 32.5degC on Wednesday to 32.6degC on Thursday, 2.7degC above normal.
