Panchkula, Oct. 3 -- DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 8, Panchkula celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great reverence, enthusiasm, and devotion to pay homage to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The celebration aimed to rekindle Gandhian values of truth, simplicity, and non-violence among students. The day began with a soulful rendition of 'Vaishnav Jan To.', Gandhiji's favourite hymn that reflects his ideals and way of life. The performance, presented by Class 8 students under the guidance of their music mentor, Shubhankar created a serene and inspiring atmosphere.Students of Class 1 and 2 presented a role play depicting Gandhiji's simple lifestyle, followed by heartfelt poem recitations highlighting his timeless principles of truth, peace, and non-violence.
