Panchkula, Nov. 28 -- DAV-8 organised a Special Morning Assembly to honour the Achievers of Month November 2025. The celebration showcased the remarkable accomplishments of students across academics, co-curricular activities, and sports. From kindergarten onwards, young learners set an inspiring example: Adhyansh (UKG-A) brought laurels by winning a gold medal in Taekwondo. Yashmeet Chauhan (-A) secured the second Position in the State Level Chess Championship (Under-11). Inter School Competitions, conducted by the District Council for Child Welfare, on Children's Day also brought glory to the institution. Under the guidance of Anita Garg, Vaibhav Mahajan (7-B) won 1st Prize as 'The Best Dramebaaz.' In Solo Singing, Sai Pulkit (11) earned the second Prize as guided by Rajkumar and Shubhankar, their music mentors. In Solo Dance, prepared by Vijay Kumar, Sara (7-C) received high appreciation for her performance. The Group Dance Team comprising 12 students lit up the stage with their captivating performance and earned individual trophies: Class 6-A: Riya, Jasmine, Mukta Class 7-A: Kaira, Aishlisha, Aradhya, Samiksha Class 8: Aarohi, Ananya, Angel, Divyanshi, Saanvi Sharma At the Annual Inter School IT Fest - "Designing the Future", hosted by Hansraj Public School, Sector-6, Panchkula, students exhibited exemplary digital skills under the guidance of Vibha Jure: Anushreya (5-B) - first Prize (Comic Strip Designing) Shagun Singh (10-B) and Karthik Thakur (9-B) - first Prize (Design a Website in an Hour) Harshjot Singh and Harkirat Singh (6-A) - second Prize (Prototype Challenge App).
