Ludhiana, Nov. 14 -- A capacity building workshop on art integration was organised at Darshan Academy, for the teachers. The workshop was conducted by the resource persons Ginakshi Kapoor and Yogesh Gambhir, who guided teachers on integrating art effectively into the school curriculum. The session began with a creative activity where teachers were asked to imagine and represent themselves through an "I-Card" that symbolised their identity. This activity encouraged self-expression and set the tone for understanding how art can make learning more meaningful and engaging. The facilitators emphasised the importance of art-integrated learning in fostering imagination, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking among students. Through group discussions and interactive tasks, teachers explored how art can be blended with different subjects to make the learning process more experiential, joyful, and holistic. The workshop concluded with reflections on how art integration promotes deeper understanding and helps achieve learning outcomes effectively.
