New Delhi, Dec. 20 -- A productive winter session, which had marathon debates on key topics and passage of landmark bills, ended on Friday, but after a rumbustious protest by the Opposition at midnight in the Rajya Sabha to oppose the VB-G Ram G bill. Both Houses passed eight bills, including the G Ram G Bill that replaces MGNREGA and The Sustainable Harnessing and Advancement of Nuclear Energy for Transforming India Bill that allows private enterprises in the sector and dilutes suppliers' liability.
