criminal held with 4 pistols, 11 rounds in Rohtak
Karnal, Dec. 20 -- The special detective staff team of Rohtak police was allegedly held with fourcountry-made pistols and 11 rounds.
DSP headquarters, Ravi Khundia said that a team led by sub-inspector Ashwani Kumar arrested Naveen alias Monu, a resident of Titoli village.
"Four country-made pistols and 11 rounds were recovered from the accused's backpack," Khundia said.
"A case has been registered against the accused under the Arms Act at Sadar Police Station, and he has been arrested. During the investigation, it came to light that the accused had purchased the weapons with the intention of killing two youths," he added.
"The accused has 17 cases registered against him under various sections, including attempted murder, robbery, dacoity, theft, fraud, illegal possession of weapons, and illegal liquor in Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan," he added....
