India, Dec. 12 -- India women's cricket vice-captain Smriti Mandhana opened up about how she deals with personal challenges and keeps her focus where it matters: on the pitch. Speaking at an event in Delhi, Mandhana emphasised that her love for the sport and the responsibility of wearing the Indian jersey help her put aside off-field distractions: "I don't think I love anything more than cricket... The 29-year-old also shared her simple approach to handling setbacks, which is by focusing on preparation, the work done behind the scenes, and treating each new challenge like a fresh start. "I have always been a very simple person, not complicating my life by overthinking," she added.
Mandhana's remarks come on the back of India's historic ODI Women's World Cup triumph and her steady rise as one of the team's key batters, showcasing her resilience both on and off the field. htc...
